Welcome! I hope October is treating you well and you're enjoying the change of seasons. I’m Mike, your friendly, local State Farm agent here in East Tennessee. With nearly 30 years of experience at State Farm and deep family roots in the area spanning over 200 years, I’m proud to serve my community with honest advice and genuine care.

A little about me: I’ve called Knoxville home since 1989, when I moved here from Kingston to attend the University of Tennessee. I’m a proud UT graduate and lifelong sports fan—especially of UT football and basketball. Sports have always been a big part of my life and my family’s. My son, a Chemical Engineering grad from Virginia Tech, and my daughter, studying Exercise Science at Auburn, both excelled in state championship cross country and soccer teams during high school.

Nowadays, I enjoy hiking, e-biking, camping, and kayaking—especially with the Great Smoky Mountains just 45 minutes away. If you love nature, I highly recommend a hike up Mt. LeConte; it’s breathtaking and truly inspiring. The sunset photo you see above this was taken from Mt Leconte on one of my hikes.

Some of my proud accomplishments include being a part of State Farm since 1997, a former claim associate, active member of the Better Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce, and past president of the East Town Business Alliance. I also enjoy giving back through volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and supporting local youth as a former Cub Scout leader.
